This is a hollow sanctuary situated inside a rough divide and can be come to through a flight of 365 stairs, which has been cut in the slope. Adhar Devi Temple is a famous sanctuary in Mount Abu and is otherwise called Arbuda Devi Temple. You get a beautiful bird's eye view of the city from the temple. It is 3 KM away from the main city of Mount Abu. The inner shrine is reached by narrow caves. The whole temple is best specimen of rock made temple. It is built out of single piece of rock. The sanctuary is devoted to Goddess Durga. A picture of the goddess is discovered lingering palpably here. Legends say that the "adhar" (half of the body) of Goddess Durga fell here. Travelers accumulate in the sanctuary in enormous number to offer their supplications to the god; and particularly amid the 9 days of Navratri Festival the amount increments. As it is situated at such a tallness, the guests are offered with a wonderful perspective of the region.
