Chitralada Royal Villa is a regal manor situated inside Dusit Palace. The main building of the palace is a two-storey building, built in the reign of Rama VI. The palace was the residence of , was founded in 1958. This estate is the informal lasting living arrangement of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and Queen Sirikit. Ruler Bhumibol was the primary lord in the Chakri tradition to live in the Chitralda. He moved there after the demise of his more seasoned sibling, King Rama VIII in the Grand Palace. The castle grounds, which are encompassed by a canal and watched by the regal watchmen, additionally contain the Chitralada School, at first settled for the offspring of the illustrious family and royal residence staffs. Ruler Dipangkorn Rasmijoti is a student in the Chitralada School. The school is viewed as the most selective in Thailand.
