Lake Karapiro is a man-made lake on the Waikato River and is famous as a world-class paddling venue. Various water sports occasions are held at the lake including yachting, powerboating, paddling and water skiing. The focal point of the activity is Lake Karapiro Domain where outdoors and cabin offices are accessible.
