Ludiya is a small village situated 70kms north of Bhuj in Banni district of Kutch. It is about 3 kms from Khawda. The village has population of about 2000 people predominantly Muslims and some Harijan families and the total area of the village is about 5 square kilometers. The chief occupation of the majority women group in the village is designing beautiful embroidery work and traditional crafts while the men force make amazing decorative furniture. The village doesn’t have any streets. The gap between two houses is treated as a pathway. I was actually wandering for one when I entered the village.
