The Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery is situated at a separation of 2 km from Manali, in Naggar. In the historical center is housed a private gathering of artworks of the Russian painter Nicholas Roerich. The craftsman's private rooms have been protected in the upper floor of the exhibition hall. Artworks of Kullu, Spiti and Lahaul made by the painter have been housed in the ground floor of the display. Nicholas Roerich, a Russian, touched base in the Himalayas after the transformation of 1917, where he passed on in the year 1947. From being the habitation of the craftsman, the building was changed over into an exhibition by his child Svyetoslav Roerich. To deal with the exhibition, the Himachal Pradesh Government and Russian Government have framed a trust. Photographs of the craftsman in plain view in the display incorporate the one in which he is posturing in his front garden with Jawahar Lal Nehru, wearing Chinese silk robes, Cossack boots and a beefy whiskers.
